God in a glass

God in a Glass – Martin Luther regularly gathered his students around the dinner table to discuss theology-the study of God. Many of these discussions were written down and are a part of Luther’s Table Talks. In this same spirit of exploration and building faith and pondering life’s big questions, you are invited to gather with Pastor Carol and each other for “God in a Glass.”

We plan to meet the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6PM (holidays excluded) at various local pubs or restaurants. Locations will be announced in the Newsletter, Happenings Sheet and on Social Media. Our next gathering will be held Thursday, August 20th at 5:30. We will meet at Murph’s Patio Bar & Grill,1431 Orange Camp Rd, DeLand. Feel free to invite your friends and neighbors.

Together we will share our questions & thoughts about God and faith and perhaps share a laugh or two along the way. This is a relaxed conversational time and you don’t need to drink beer to join us! We will do this in the public as a testament to our faith and as an invitation for others to join us! We may not have all the answers, but we trust that whenever two or three gather in Jesus’ name, He is there with us.
